Amit Mukherjee, Founder & CEO

Amit has spent 25 years running and fixing operations. Most recently, he spent 12 years at Ciena, a global telecom equipment company, where he led business operations and services pricing from Gurugram and later Ottawa. His teams of more than 100 people across India, Malaysia, Argentina, the US, Canada and Mexico supported Ciena's services business worldwide.

A few results from that time:

• Cut more than $6M a year in operating costs by building one clear view of where cost and revenue were leaking

• Recovered $20M a year in renewal revenue lost to system gaps, with an automated fix that took support request failures to zero

• Moved hardware maintenance to auto-renewal, pulling forward $20M+ in cash every year

• Raised maintenance attach rates from 40% to 85%

Before Ciena, he set up and scaled a 250-person delivery centre in Bangalore for Colt Technology Services. He also held network and technology roles at Bharti Airtel and Reliance.

Amit is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and PRINCE2 Practitioner. He has an engineering degree in Electronics & Communication and a PGDBM from MDI Gurgaon.
